Rebellion<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The shops are nice, you can afford it all<\/p>\n

but you tell the street beggar<\/p>\n

that you do not have a coin<\/p>\n

You do not<\/p>\n

Just a credit card,<\/p>\n

maybe if he sings or dances like a street musician,<\/p>\n

you know, clownish art,<\/p>\n

you would find that coin<\/p>\n

Especially if someone you need to impress is nearby<\/p>\n

However, you are responsible and well-budgeted<\/p>\n

for other entertainment and<\/p>\n

good bras for your fake dingdongs<\/p>\n

bigger lips, vehicles and nice holidays<\/p>\n

captured for your profile pictures here and there<\/p>\n

They lift your self-worth up<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

You live, or try,<\/p>\n

on Golden Lion Street number 1<\/p>\n

and invite many. No thank you<\/p>\n

Not this week, but next week, sale is on<\/p>\n

You have so many things, so important,<\/p>\n

on loans really, but hell, who uses cash these days?<\/p>\n

All these fancy buildings<\/p>\n

Divided in tiny apartments behind the walls<\/p>\n

Many are sleeping tightly behind their sealed windows<\/p>\n

Others try to cut the cursed robes and unleash<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

They saw the burning flame is running on the nearby river<\/p>\n

Its favorite words are “At least”<\/p>\n

At least the stars are burning like it somewhere<\/p>\n

More flames join, sparks from a cig<\/p>\n

Throw the cigarette in the perfected river<\/p>\n

Silenced by the reflection of the water<\/p>\n

It could not care less, it challenges thee<\/p>\n

To be planless<\/p>\n

At least, we can call your sleep forgetting to fit mediocrity<\/p>\n

At least, we can excuse it with your newly found power<\/p>\n

But deny it all together for you are immensely holy,<\/p>\n

just perfect<\/p>\n

If you just knew, you are loved regardless<\/p>\n

Have your masquerade and master perfection<\/p>\n

Give nice performances<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

At least, it is less painful than choking<\/p>\n

on smoke and illusion and realism<\/p>\n

One day you might get it all<\/p>\n

Then give it up<\/p>\n

Then your eyes will unfold from its dead cocoon<\/p>\n

and finally become interesting.<\/p>\n

The wrinkled large thousand yeared stone<\/p>\n

on a hundred yeared street<\/p>\n

in minutes writes your steps<\/p>\n

on the way to your favorite<\/p>\n

Caf\u00e9<\/p>\n

Not any caf\u00e9, but that Caf\u00e9<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Two cups, one espresso and one green tea<\/p>\n

Somehow faces transcended<\/p>\n

the ingredients and the taste<\/p>\n

of the hands who made them<\/p>\n

gently<\/p>\n

Never rush for the right aroma<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

No one could hear but the time walking by<\/p>\n

And the colliding of anxieties<\/p>\n

hidden in controlled sipping<\/p>\n

One swallow feels cosmically<\/p>\n

accepting<\/p>\n

Then call a cab, leave, farewell<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

If power and wealth changed your sheets<\/p>\n

then your back is more beautiful<\/p>\n

than the entire collection of Face<\/p>\n

So in theory you are still beautiful<\/p>\n

– subjectively<\/p>\n

Did the waitress mix in hypocrisy?<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Well, at least, it is what it was and was not<\/p>\n

Peaceful after cups of obscurity<\/p>\n

One hyped on crushed caffeine<\/p>\n

The other cleansing the streets<\/p>\n

Tricked<\/p>\n

by ingredients stones encounter.<\/p>\n

Home<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Tonight’s cityscape tells of a robbery<\/p>\n

The hints of your blissful smile gone<\/p>\n

Was it the blunt truth or pity for fools?<\/p>\n

You see, schadenfreude is a thing too<\/p>\n

It runs like guilty rats across the street<\/p>\n

Who can blame? They are endangered<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

So maybe shutting the balcony door,<\/p>\n

curtains too, not that bad of an idea<\/p>\n

Cover the mirrors, reflective surfaces<\/p>\n

No to worries and Yes to half truths<\/p>\n

Navigate through the jungle carefully<\/p>\n

That way you ensure your successes<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Truly understandable, hardly admirable<\/p>\n

All that you are asked for is to realise<\/p>\n

Somewhere in skyscrapers others know<\/p>\n

You may not recognise them in alleys<\/p>\n

behind desks, eating, running errands<\/p>\n

An unpronounced hollow shout says so.<\/p>\n
